I have a retail job right now that I'm doing in the meantime, which I'm grateful for. I actually have to be there in 45 minutes haha! So I'll make this quick. i have gotten some interviews and things, but now i'm like torn. i may get this americorps position in a town here in south carolina. but i also may get a full time job in the state govt as well, and i don't know which one is better or which one i should take.

would dc jobs recognize me more if i had americorps on my resume?

It's been a while since I signed on to City Data. I'm sorry things aren't working out for you. A lot of people are struggling right now I suppose.

What have you been applying for? Have you gotten any interviews? Is there any way you can be an intern for someone and work somewhere else part time to pay bills?

Life sucks. I remember you saying that I was qualified for lots of entry level dc jobs, however, it's so competitive, esp now with the economy in the crapper. any advice now? I'm so torn about things right now, and you usually gave me pretty solid advice.
