Sigh, when is money not an issue, right? I'm not one of those people for whom my entire object in life is to become rich (in fact, I don't want to be rich, I think capitalism is destroying our society), but I'll tell you, if you came up to me and said, "Here, Xa'at, take this $5,000 to buy a nice new camera, replace your compiuter screen since it's been cracked into about 25 separate pieces after you fell ten feet out of your loft, and maybe get one of those cushy mattresses for you and the pup..." I'd donate the rest to charity, I swear to god!

I know, right? I found one that was okay, and then I found out there was a security deposit of like $1,000! It was like, goddamnit, I don't have that kind of money lying around! It would be a lot easier if I didn't have a dog, I could probably get a 1 bedroom for $800.
This place will be fine, I have my own entrance, it's right between the Valley and Downtown, and I'm near freddies.
Speaking of that, how's the planned move coming?

Well, actually it's a rented apartment in a lady I know's house, so not really my own pad. But with the price of an okay studio creeping towards 900 a month + utilities, this is about what I can afford. Five hundred a month utilities included and allows my dog, with two rooms and a bathroom- not bad.

Of course I'm staying out of trouble! I finally found a place to live so I won't be on the streets when I finally get back to Juneau, so huzzah for not being homeless!
