Oh, Katie, sorry to hear about health issues. That's tough. I know, been there.

Hope you can get back to training soon! I went to a "show 'n go" couple weeks ago and there was a lady in the ring with a walker. There's a professional handler that I see at just about all the shows who handles from a motorized scooter.

I called them last yr they said no but I not going to call every time i find a close show in this day should all be assible grrr & i asked in the forum 2 times & no one answered!! they are just too rude

Katie, to find out if the buildings are handicap accessible, you may just have to call the club that is putting on the show, or the people who own the building (Club, City, County, etc). Usually the club secretary can put you in touch with someone they deal with when they rent the building for a trial or show. Hope this helps.

Hollidays are hard not just cause my moms bday is around Thanksgiving My fav uncle died then too. And my best Friend died 28th of Dec.Greatly missed & never forgotten

I was just reading the messages and noticed some regarding your mom. My mom died 2001, me and my husband cared for her for 7 years. She had myeloma along with a series of other illnesses. It has been especially hard this year because we just moved to TN and our place is directly across from a senior apartment complex. I saw someone that really resembled her wearing lavendar. Lavendar was her favorite. I caved. I miss her but I am really glad that I had that time with her. She never wanted to be a burden and always asked me while I was caring for her if there is anything else I'd rather be doing, was there anything she was holding me back from doing. I always said, "no" because I loved spending time with her. She loved my husband so much that she called him her "real son". I miss her spunky fire! Its especially hard if there are a lot of transitions going on when we lose them (like new job, moving, newlyweds).
