    Because of the higher elevation of these hills, it tends to have temps just a bit lower here than areas like San Antonio.

    Did not realize it got so cold in southern TX. A regret I have is I failed to visit S.A. when I lived in TX. I have heard it's a beautiful area. I live close to Syracuse, NY.

    Over 20 yrs ago I lived for a year in Tyler, the azaleas were gorgeous!

    re: the SA newspaper insert thread......I'm with you, I'm "old school". I refuse to pay any BS fees for anything, I like to say "so-and-so will go broke before I pay for X". Everybody has got their hands out, wanting our hard earned money. I don't play those games.
