If you don't mind, I have a couple more questions for you. My Dad is a heavy equipment operator, bulldozer, trac hoe, back hoe, etc, from what I can see, he should not have problem finding a job. I have over 10 years of office management experience, but since the boom ended here in Oklahoma I've been working in manufacturing because that is where it money has been to make ends meet. My spouse is a gas chromatographor, and works for a company that measures natural gas. How is the work area in that field or do you know? My Mom is looking at going back to work for AT&T. Do you know how the pay is there, she has seen several job opening in Williston for them. Any and all help would be appreciated. Leaving our current jobs seeking a better life, living from paycheck to paycheck, is all we are looking for. Oklahoma is our home, but times are getting tough here. Again, thanks for you help. I've read you work for a temp agency. Maybe I should go that route?

    Ms. Lisan,

I have been reading the forums here and you have been so helpful. I just wanted to thank you for your post. My spouse, and parents are thinking about heading up that way. From everything I have read, Williston is the place the boom is happening. My Dad has worked in the oilfields here in Oklahoma for years, but our boom is done! So times are getting really rough here. Williston seems to be our answer. From what I have read, our best bet is to bring the 5th wheel until we can find housing. Would that be a correct assumption? Finding a job doesn't seem to be the problem at all, just having some place to lay your head at night does!
