    Hi LL123,
I enjoyed it a lot. The sound system was state of the art and all are very talented musicians and songwriters.
I did not know it was billed as a "History of the Eagles" tour and as a result there was some dialog especially at the beginning of the over 3 hour set. A highlight of that is when Glenn Frey was explaining what he was told for them to really make it big and that is to "rock harder." Loved the way that was explained. They then went into "Already Gone" which was a breakthrough for them and their style.

They performed a few obscure early tracks at the beginning before their doing their first big hit "Take It Easy." I thought it was good to mix it up like that to get a feel they were doing somethng different and keeping things fresh.

Joe Walsh was not given a set this time but performed one James Gang song (Funk 49) and 3 others sprinkled here and there during the last half.

They had great chemistry together and all of them got along real well.

    Hi LL123 -
Thanks a lot for the good wishes! I don't think there will be an opening act. Likely it will be a 3 hour show. Joe Walsh will probably do some old James Gang and music from his solo career. It's always a good time seeing them. This will be my 3rd. The last time I saw them was 10 years ago so I am really looking forward to it.

Ha! Yeah, I've had to make believe I was at concerts all my life. Daughter bought wife and I tickets to an Alabama concert a few years ago. Randy Owen wound up ill and Reba McEntire filled in. I like Reba but she wasn't Alabama... Have a great weekend. We're heading out to one of the missions for a special event with the gkids.

Thank you so much, LL. I'm anxious to get on with the surgery and the healing process. By June 1 my feet should be almost good as new!
