    MeiraV I'll pm you, as I have no idea if you will recieve notice of this reply.

    You mis-read. I said I had access to a alternate coffee like subtance which has no beans what so ever. The subtance is a cambium bark on a local tree type in the north east. The 'coffee' tasts like black coffee with mint added for the crushing of the bark and then boiling in water.

    In one of your messages on the Self-Sufficiency forum, you mentioned something about being able to find wild coffee beans. I found this extremely intriguing, so I googled a bit to locate this info for myself, but didn't come up with much. Would you mind telling me more about it, or telling what phrase will help my searches?
