I didn't know if you might have half a day of school that day and might like to join us! We miss you! Tammy (Elcarim) is looking forward to meeting you. I'm hoping that mommax3 will make it too! Spring seems to be showing signs~ here and there. I'm ready for some green grass and budding trees.

I miss you! Are you going to lunch in Bangor Saturday? I'm looking forward to a wreath making day next month. We'll have to set a date soon so that it works for all of us. Either before, during or after Thanksgiving works for me.

I'm glad you had such a good first day! Taylor wasn't overly excited but she was ready this morning. She's a little concerned about English with a particular teacher (he intimidates her) and she's disappointed that Mrs. Putnam/Scarlett isn't going to be her art teacher. We loved Mrs. Huwa before her and are hoping they're able to hire someone as artsy and fun as Marjorie (we knew he outside the school).

No lunch this week. Our schedules clash. I'm going to pick Taylor up after school Friday. I'll run in to say hi!

How was your first day of school? I'll be in school now and then and will stop in!

It's been so busy around here for me. I never got to send a note your way. I do hope that your feeling better. Robin and Mary told me you were under the weather. We missed you.
I sent a note to see if Thursday we could meet for lunch in
Calais.
I don't know the time yet, but I'll follow the leader on this one. I'm keeping Thursday open.

We definitely will. Save Columbus Day if you can. I want to have lunch here and serve farm-fresh foods. I'm thinking about the menu now. And maybe a day during Thanksgiving break or weekend soon after to make Christmas wreaths. I use one of my greenhouses. Mary wants to learn how to make a wreath so I thought we'd make a lunch of it. I can make soup and breads and a dessert to warm up with after wreath making.

I hope you feel better Gigi! And I agree with Robin, we'll plan to get together on breaks And I've been meaning to tell you, I love the graphic you have on your page! It's wonderful! There is a place outside of Ellsworth on the Bucksport Road called the Chicken Barn--it's an old barn (HUGE) and has antiques. Upstairs they have prints of a lot of the old advertisements for just about anything you can imagine--Jello, Baking Soda, Hersey's Chocolate Syrup---it's wonderful! And as soon as the kitchen is painted I'll be going over to pick a few up I know, talk about getting off on a tangent huh? lol... Feel better soon!

Awwwww! I'm sorry you're not feeling well. We'll plan lunches during breaks now that school's starting again. Rest and fell better!
