We will be holding more classes. The one at the end of this month is sold out. But well probably do another this summer. Email me as seedsgroup@gmail.com if you'd like to be on the list or the next one.

You knit!!?? That's awesome! My cousin (a guy!) has his own knitting shop in Phila. It was his Mom's for many year...she learned how to knit from a Phila. Fireman! I've been looking at you-tube videos on Continental knitting recently...very interesting and much quicker than the way I knit but it probably is hard to reteach yourself and I don't know if I could purl the way it shows either...There is a thread about knitting on the crafts forum. As far as Etsy...I have looked at hand knitted stuff on there, but to be honest, there isn't much talent! If you have some nice things, I would think they would sell. I love to knit too. And crochet.
I get my beads on E-Bay...most come from China. It ends up being a lot cheaper than AC Moore! I try to hunt for the cheapest prices. Sometimes you luck out. I've got enough to keep me bust for awhile now!
    Good Luck...keep warm...take care!

Hi MermanMike! I remember you telling me about Etsy.com...so I wanted you to know I have a page myself! Etsy :: DonnasJewels :: Donna's Jewels
I had remembered looking at it when you mentioned it and since I'm looking for a place to sell my stuff...I decided to give this a try. So far...no sales though.

So...how are things with you...haven't seen you in NEPA forum lately...it's kinda boring right now. So...did you ever make the pretzels we talked about with your nieces?
    Talk to you soon!

The pretzels are a lot of fun! Your nieces will love them, what kid doesn't love to play with food!!! And then eat it! The cookies are really good, and so pretty...my nieces beg for them year round! Almond paste would be in the baking isle...usually by the canned fillings and stuff like that.

Mike...your nieces might love makeing these with you...Aunt Annies pretzels!! I found a recipe...it's on CDKitchen.com (no connection to here!) Do a search for Aunt Annie's Soft Pretzels....Dough needs to rise 1/2 an hour...they come out GREAT! Of course slathered in butter...makes a lot, depneding on the size you make them. My nieces made all sorts of shapes...faces with braided hair and such. Great fun! Easy and cheap!

Oh!!! I found a secret for the fried dough...you're gonna hate me when I tell you!! I saw a man who worked at the Chinese buffet leaving the supermarket with a pile of bisquits that come in the cardboard tube....they have those little donuts..so I gave it a try. You can use the cheapest kind....cut the center out for the dunut whole..they make the most delicious donuts when deep fried!!! Like you said...cinnamon sugar....powdered sugar...YUM! And you can always keep them in the frig in case company comes!

I'll be snipping free pine branches with mini pin cones that are in abundance around here for decorating the mantle...simple and elegant, only putting out my prettiest of things I have collected and finally getting rid of all the cheesy 80's stuff! You must be having fun making ornaments with your nieces! I always have a collection that I have bought and want to duplicate and leave out after the holidays to work on during the year...but it never happens!
