I think if more people were completely honest they would admit that parenthood is not rewarding

Yes, I think a lot of people think the same thing. I know people in the UK are particularly worried about it as well. I feel fairly confident that the majority of Americans will do the right thing though.

Yes, the Republican debates are fun to watch for entertainment value (you can't make this stuff up) until you remember they are running for chief executive / commander in chief. I am particularly concerned about Trump. Not long a go a reported asked for his reaction to anti-Trump rhetoric from Senator McCain. Trump said, "he needs to be careful". When pressed about what that meant, Trump said, "He'll find out." That is truly ominous. Mark my words, Trump will strongly tend to be the next Mussolini if he actually gets into power.

I watched the Democratic Debate last night too. I've watched most of the debates on both sides. I must say it was so refreshing to watch two grown ups after all the recent Republican shenanigans. Thought I'd message you directly as I don't think Id get away with it on the forum.

Thanks. I have in the past -- technical writing though. I don't want my wife and kids and grandkids and surviving siblings knowing all my innermost thoughts about life, they are not all capable of handling them ;-)
