Ah right, Castaway A good movie, if I remember correctly there was no music, which made watching him even more intense and painful even...

Hope this is okay. I mentioned my stories in a post. I post them under the same screen name on fanfiction.com. Most are on the Deep Space 9 section but I have few others you can find by looking at my profile.

Comfortis. You give it to them in their food. This is my second beagle and both have had awful problems with fleas. Here, the winter never got cold enough to kill the outside flea eggs and you go outside and bring in more. I'm waiting for my second can of indoor spray. The nice thing about this is its internal, stored in the fat cells, so baths and splashing don't effect it and they were cleared of fleas in a couple of hours. It doesn't kill ticks, but I use the food grade DE for that. It is very effective and rubbed on like a flea powder and cheap. Just make sure its FOOD grade diatomaious earth. Its the stuff they use on dried beans and such to kill insect pests in shipping.

I lost a cat from a sensitivity I didn't see, she being naturally very thickly coated and underactive, so the cats get Advantage.

Frontline seems to no longer work and I'm guessing the walmart stuff, which is generic frontline, doesn't either. I haven't seen it pushed much locally at least.

Hi! Read your comment on regarding your dog's sensitivity to fleas and it mentioned your vet gave him a pill a take- do you know what it was? My dog (beagle/jack russell) has a bad flea allergy as well and one bite causes her (and me!) all kinds of misery for MONTHS. She's on Advantage now but when we move, the area is a little more dense with folliage and I'm afraid of her picking up some unwanted guests!

This was written when I was trying to deal with having been homeless. Echos still linger, though I am no longer take medication for depression. The worst is that still, almost ten years later, life is still divided into chunks of time and the rest doesn't really exist until you get to it.
