Guns don't kill people. People kill people.

Homicide rates are highest in states with highest poor black populations, regardless of gun control laws.

Poor whites and Hispanics shoot each other much less.

Statistically, in Chicago blacks are 27 times more likely to commit murder than whites and 3 times more likely to commit murder than Hispanics.

Mate, you need to learn to not be so sensitive and reactive to harmless comments and idea sharing that might be different from yours'. When someone gives their contribution to a thread in a helpful and peaceful manner, it isn't your job to "one-up" them with your opinion that is supposedly more correct. We all have our own personal experiences. You come across as incredibly amateur, immature, and pretentious. That's not a place for this forum. Smarten up and grow up.

Look through your post for the last few months. See how many others noted it? You stirred up many a threads. The ONLY THREAD I SAW YOU DEFEND CHICAGO. WAS AGAINST TORONTO. LOL I MERELY NOTED YOU ARE FEMALE. GETTING A smack unsmiley for your slight. YOUR COMMENT SAYING NOTHING IN PHILLY'S FAVOR? ONLY MENTIONING CHICAGO SAYS IT ALL.

YOU EVEN JUST POSTED THIS a bit ago.
NOLA101 Chicago does not have the second best system in the U.S. That would be DC.

Chicago has a top five transit system in the U.S., but it doesn't matter. The difference in transit quality between #1 and #2 is bigger than the difference in transit quality between #2 and #100.

It would be like arguing over the second biggest financial center after NYC, or the second biggest tech center after Silicon Valley, or the second most important Catholic city after Rome, or the second most important French city after Paris. Does it really matter? #2 is closer to #20 than #1

The list is long. Many quick slights to Chicago.
