2011 Relay For Life!

Here are some of the photos I took at our 2011 Relay For Life. Relay raises money for the American Cancer Society. Each year, I am a team captain and work for several months raising funds for the cause. The fundraising culminates in an annual Relay weekend, when teams gather to celebrate life and the strides made in cancer research, prevention and cures. We take turns walking throughout the night. I'm getting a little old for staying up more than 24 hours, but when I think about what cancer patients go through, my couple of days' exhaustion is nothing. It's all about the cause! My little team of 8 people raised a whopping $4,585 this year. Woo-hoo! I'm so proud!
