I am confused....I don't remember posting in the successful black men thread...but...you're probably talking about the little cafe on Clifton Rd that's really just a part of Emory's food services...it's nothing special.
But, coolyfett, a lunatic?!?! Come on, now, that's a little harsh, man...
There's a very small possibility that I will be working at Corp Square by early next year...very small and remote...but I've been thinking about this because I really want to continue to bike to work.
I live south of 85 in the Candler Park neighborhood. That's about 8 miles south of Corp Square. I think I can get all the way up to 85 via neighborhood roads and then I would have to negotiate crossing over or under the interstate. There are two places I might be able to do this.
I might be able to help you out...let me know the general location of where you'll be living and I will see if I can find a route.
And can tell you if you can walk to any stores, etc.
Can you tell me what you're going to be doing at CDC? Are you going to be a federal employee or a contractor (like me!)? What set of initials for the division or branch, etc, will you be located (my guess would be one of the HIV groups)?
you seem to have the skinny on where to live/bike within the CDC community. I'm moving to ATL next month, don't know the area, but will be working from Corporate Square. Is is possible to bike to that location without getting run over? I'm used to urban biking but in Los Angeles where our roads are a bit wider. Also, any place to buy with food/shops within walking distance (to home not work)?
