I work in Harrisburg for the state at the Dept. of Corrections, but have also worked as a manager at Harrisburg State Hospital. There is always a need in the medical field in schuylkill County because at least 20% of the population is over 65. try the Pottsville hospital and open MRI, or Good Samaritan. Also plenty of hospitals and clinics in the area close by. i chose tremont for its proximity to all major metro areas in eastern Pa. sans Philly. The cost of housing here is fantastic! And the commutes really are not that bad. Small, quiet town living with merto money. Not too shabby at all!
