Oh, the Possums generally did not do much lounging. They were more into scurrying & ambling. But they seemed to have an amiable relationship with the cats. They were beautiful opossums. & they adored the compost of a vegetarian household.

As for the town-destroying trash: they lived in a strictly regimented neighborhood of slightly expensive houses (by Mississippi standards), where there were plastic fountains from Wal-mart in most of the FRONT yards. Shrubbery and trees, there, are kept to a minimum, and those people practically worship grass. Poison trucks visit eacg yard, spraying toxic green goop on the lawns.

That neighborhood had a married-with-kids pedo, who got caught and imprisoned. And there was a holyrolling COO of a big law firm, who made his daughter so miserable, she is said to have taken her grandfather's pills, & to have gone to the woods to die. This was a week after her parents told her they would not allow her to go to college.

I'm going to look into this! Funny how larger-than-life people (and whole families of such people) can have more entertaining lives than anyone could make up. Did you know that Gertrude Stein and Isadora Duncan were neighbors, back before either family became prominent? And, I think Hitler and Wittgenstein were in the same kindergarten. So, apparently, some neighborhoods can spawn larger-than-life lives.

As for that Suzanne Andrews vid... just the MUSIC wears ME out. Perky much...
But really, expect to be exhausted by any exercise regime requiring "two ten-inch cut noodles" - and this, for BEGINNERS.

Oh, and before I forget again, here's a public service video regarding the CHAMELEON MENACE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ulo8swzEWNQ

Poverty surely made everything worse. The moths and silverfish had probably eaten holes in all the carefully-saved party dresses: something they probably discovered while unpacking them for the party. Nylon articles were probably the only apparel in that house which were still intact. Little Edie may not have had much choice in her attire. Norma Desmond, on the other hand, would simply have had Max drive her to the best stores in LA, and would not have looked too crazy at a party. But then, she had oil wells "pumping... pumping..."

The horrible irony is that while they were desperately trying to have a good time at that last party, the "caretakers" were back at the house, robbing them of their last valuables. What a segment that would make, in a movie.

Glad you enjoyed! And be sure not to miss reading that article on Grey Gardens. It fills in in a lot of the blanks - particularly concerning how they ended up broke.

That has to be the best Maru yet! Apparently, he really is very smart, and is finding ways to amuse himself.

Oh! I just found Mega Piranha on YouTube - in HINDI! Apparently, all Twentieth Century additions to the language are English, and so it's amazingly easy to follow. This is a very important film, which one could predict, since the Star of the movie is TIFFANY. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ig4eRbSv1o

Just be sure there are no Pit Bulls lurking about. If they attack horses, and bite police car tires flat, then they'd probably love tearing-into a giant marsupial. But assuming no killer canines are around, it does look like fun (except for the rotten Emu carcass aspect, which would be seriously icky).

Most perplexing? If that tail were not twitching-away, I'd assume Maru had just found a novel way to relax. Thanks for the link! I hope things are improving for you. I've not yet found inspiration to comment on the Pit Bull ban (although I'm definitely fer it).
