Connally! Do you know the band teacher there? He has such passion! We were so impressed when we went to figure out which instrument was best for my son. It was almost 7:30 at night--he'd been there all day--and my son was being very slow about deciding and we were sort of apologizing for it--there was absolutely no "OMG HURRY UP" vibes coming from him and he could not have been nicer. He even had students coming in when we were leaving. My son is going to be in good hands next year.

I hate when they bash teachers, too. I honestly have a ton of respect for my son's teachers, except for one--and I don't know if it is just a personality conflict or what, but all the others are awesome!! I am going to miss them when he moves on next year--but we've already met his new band teacher for middle school, and OMG he's amazing and you can tell he just loves his job. I don't think we have much to worry about next year!
