I'm an atheist, by the way .
I've always been bothered by the problem of free will. There was a thread some time ago about what one question would we ask God if we could, and my honest answer was "In what sense do we have free will?"

If an omniscient God exists I do not think free will is possible. The way God created Adam determined every act of every human being. I do not see how we are different from computer programs, from God's point of view. If I create a program that deletes a file, I'm responsible for the destruction. I certainly wouldn't send the program to some hell for its "crime".
The only way the program could "surprise" me would be if the code is so complex that my limited mind cannot predict all its actions. In that case I would be justified to delete it if it starts messing up my computer. Only if God wasn't omniscient would a form of free be possible.

Still, it's refreshing to see a believer with an opinion about free will that's not totally alien to me.
