Hi, remember me? Makossa (Ray) I had that heavy duty HP with that beep and no start up problem. I have the HP Workstation xw8300.

For three weeks or better now I had no problem with start up. Just now it did it, 5 beeps, pause, 5 beeps....etc.... I didn't see how long it would carry on like that.

The only way I could start it was by unplugging it from the rear of the computer, let it stand for about a minute, then plug & go. I tried first, to just cut the power on the breaker strip but no avail. It only seemed to work as I mentioned above. Is that just coincidence?

Any help my friend, would be very much appreciated. Thanks
