Hi turtlemom! Look at someone's post and you will see two places to give rep points. One is at the bottom left of the post and says "[+] Rate this post positively." Clicking on that line will give someone one rep point. You don't have to be a CD member to use that feature, but you also can't leave your name or comment with it. The second place is at the top right corner of the post to the right of the post #. There is a set of scales icon. Clicking that allows you to keave your name & a comment if you wish. It also allows more points per rep; depending on the forum and your own rep score. The higher your rep, the more points you can give out.
