Valerie, I just posted a long plea for advice perhaps you have some. I have a job lined up at Exeter hospital ( I am a RN ) and I start work late March early April. WE have yeet to sell our house here, hope to get 20,000 out of it- My husband can't find work despite his search- he is in computers- IT, IS web design etc. Our credit doesn't look that good as he hasn't worked for two years- debt to income We have one late mortgage payment and a medical collection of 350.00 however WHEN he gets a job , we stand to make over 9000 a month net. Vastly improving out debt to income. THE dilemma is WHERE to live in the interim? Obviously our income is very minimal after house payment here and standard bills- I have read your comments and threads in the past and gather you to be in real estate that is the reason for my lengthly post-also you are very friendly in your comments and posts - meaning the type of New Englander I remember- Thanks for taking the time to read and if moved to - replying!-

    May your stuffing be tasty
    May your turkey plump,
    May your potatoes and gravy
    Have never a lump.
    May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
    And may your Thanksgiving dinner
    Stay off your thighs!

Happy Thanksgiving to You and Yours!

Chester, NH is a quaint and picturesque little town in the southern part of New Hampshire. Located less than 10 miles from our biggest and most populated...

I'm often asked "Do you think this is a good time for someone like me to buy a house?" or "When will we hit the bottom? THAT's when I want to buy!"

However, I don’t think all this necessarily means that you should put off buying. On the contrary, if you plan to live in your...
