    Warpt.

I know about not having summer. That's how it was last year for us. We waited and waited and it never came. First sunny day was July 4th, which is our official start of summer here, and then, it was cloudy, cold, windy, rainy for the next 3 months with the exception of 19 days. That's all we had for a summer. This June was really strange. It rained straight for the first 2 weeks, snow in the mountains. They were still skiing up in Snoqualmie and we were not getting out of the 60s in the lowlands. The past week has been in the 80s-90s and sunny. It's fricken awesome! But I know about getting a rip off summer.

I go out and record people's voices like, "Hi I'm _______ from ______, listen to music from yesterday and today right here on KYUK 640 AM in Bethel, Alaska." I also make public service announcements to air on radio. I also load music into our database of about 50,000 songs and edit them. Most of the time its just playing music on air.

That's totally cool! I actually wish I was in the movie business, I seem to gravitate towards that. So producing, what do you do?

It's a Trek 7100. I seem to love the word Trek, which is why I gravitated towards it. I know, I'm such a girl. But even though the guy said it was the right frame for me, I feel like even w/the seat at its lowest level, it's too tall. Like the bike is riding me, not the other way around. Of course, I've only sat on it & moved back & forth in my apartment, not in the open road, so maybe it'll be different once I actually venture out.

You are really one w/your bike, aren't you? I bought a bike 3 weeks ago but have YET to go on it. I put the front wheel on, had to take it off to stuff it in the car, & I'm convinced it's not on right. I'm terrified I'll go flying if I take it out before I have someone properly look at it. I haven't been on a bike since '95...I have terrifying images of car doors, drivers flipping me off, yelling at me, the whole bit. I'm such a wuss!
