Little Egg Harbor
These seagulls were more common on the East Coast than the more familiar gray gulls. They were also smaller, and, I think, prettier.

Another shot along the lovely beach...
Picket fences protect the precious dunes, and run along the edge of the beach.
It is actually illegal here to walk on the dunes, and you can get heavily fined for basically even thinking about it.
This is a beautiful flower growing on the dune a few steps from my front door.

This is a harbor where the city of Philadelphia houses their Civil War-era battleships! Sweet, right?
