I have been looking up Collierville Tennessee and from what I have seen its a very lovely place and really like it. Now heres the question.. Is Collierville, TN a good place to move to? why or why not? Is it a good place to raise a family?

For the Memphis area, it's a pretty nice suburb. It has a cute little town square, and it has pretty good schools, second only in the area to maybe Germantown (all of the suburbs in Shelby Co. are Shelby County Schools), so it makes it a good place to raise a family. I don't go out there very often though, so I cannot offer much more than that.

Yes. It's a good place to move to and raise your kids. Lots of young families inhabit Collierville.

Cville is a very nice suburb. If you are moving to the Memphis area this would be one of the best places to live.

I think nursing is a high demand field right now. It is probably not that hard to find nursing jobs in Memphis with the large number of Hospitals and medical centers. I am not sure about accounting jobs. Those are hit and miss.

Great place to live, good schools. You might have to drive a little to your job in the medical field, but it's worth it.

The more i research it the move i fall in love with it. How far exactly is memphis from collierville? And, is there a lake or river around that kids could go during the summer to swim and you can take your boat and stuff?

Collierville is great for families. It's a pricey area to buy a home, at least more expensive (generally) than Bartlett or Cordova. But I would say Collierville and Germantown are the most 'elite' suburbs of Memphis. Memphis has a ton of hospitals and doctors, although I'm not sure about directly in Collierville. But the area is very small, compared to a lot of metro areas. Most people live in the suburbs but work elsewhere. The commute times here are not that bad.
