Need a bit of help (Memphis, Winchester: live, cost, store)

This is a strange request. I am wondering if anyone is able to verify if this address is a business or at least an industrial park maybe:

7948 Winchester Rd. Suite #109-338 Memphis, TN 38125

I'm possibly doing business with a company at that address but need to take the necessary precautions before I do.

The Shelby County Register's site shows that 7948 Winchester is a legitimate address. The aerial photo provided on the Register's site shows what appears to be an L-shaped attachment to a big box retail building near the intersection of Winchester and Hacks Cross.

However, the Suite 109-338 thing was a bit perplexing. So I searched a bit on Google and discovered that Suite 109 is a UPS Store. Thus, 109-338 is likely box number 338 at the UPS Store.

That address is a UPS store (formerly, Mailboxes Etc.) that has mail boxes similar to the Post Office. They cost about twice what the USPS Post Office box costs, but offer more services... plus you can get UPS to deliver to it. Don't discount the person for having an address there. I have both a PO Box and a UPS box address, and I have my most important mail, such as checks and contracts come to the UPS box because I can trust them more.

The address, "7948 Winchester Rd. Suite #109-338", means it's the UPS store at 7948 Winchester Road, which is a plaza that includes Kroger as its anchor. The UPS store is in suite 109 of that plaza. Your addressee rents box 338 in that store, hence "109-338".

Rather than making a judgment of the business based on address, check with the BBB or the corporation's office.
