Well right, the Grizz are horrible But, the games are still fun. They do have $5 tickets, but I think they only go on sale the day of the game at noon and you have to stand ni line for them. Otherwise, tickets are $9 and up. Still very cheap.

If I remember correctly, I think you can get "day-of" super nosebleed tickets for 10 bucks. Good seats can be had for 30-40/each.

The Grizz have promise. They drafted a promising young point guard, they have a couple vets that are very good at what they do, potential all-stars (Gasol and Miller), and they just signed a center to take the heat off of Gasol. Last year was somewhat of an anomaly b/c of injuries, even remaining status quo they should be better this coming season, but with another point guard, a new head coach and gm, and a new center, this team could be a playoff contender. On the other hand, they could still be a year or so away, depending on the acclimation process.

Everything I'm hearing from the Grizz message boards, is that Wallace (the GM) is doing and saying all of the right things, being more visible in the media and the community, and turning doubters regarding his perceived involvement in the Boston debacle into nascent believers.

You can get super nose bleed tickets for $5 at the beginning of the month for as many games as you'd like (there's a limit per game). For example, when the season starts in Nov., if there are 8 games in the month, on Nov. 1 you can buy tickets to all 8 games. You can go to Grizzlies.com for more info.

Thanks for letting me know when the season started! Like I said, I'm not a basketball person, so I had no clue!

I'll check their site out too!
