Has anyone tried the new Circa in East Memphis. Just wondering if the food is a good as it was downtown and/or if the menu has changed.

Good downtown ?? you're kidding right ?

overblown, overhyped unispired cuisine in general
very unremarkable

Chuck --

I have not tried it yet. I'm out of the loop on this one. Where is it located?

A group of us went a couple of weeks ago. Similar cuisine to Circa downtown, but a bit more casual. Decor was very modern and warm. Chef John Bragg was there and visited with us. Very nice evening out, I'd highly recommend it!

Thanks

Need to try it. Went to Circa last Saturday and their Cowboy Ribeye was great.

I've been to Circa a few times (live just blocks away) and have enjoyed it every time. My wife particularly loves their seared tuna, but I was more impressed with the rack of lamb. Can't remember if it was a special or if it's regularly on the menu, but it was excellent. This coming from a big fan of lamb!
