Did some apartment hunting last week. (Memphis, Millington: neighborhood, live, price)

Earlier this month I was in Memphis and was able to visit a number of places, some good, some not so good. I will probably end up at Cross Creek in Millington. It is only about a year old so it is still in good condition. It is only a few miles from where my brother lives. I am not too crazy about the fact the neighborhood is being developed rapidly. A Holiday Inn will be almost next door.

I visited the Villas at Cordova. Very nice but very expensive. I also visited the Grove at Trinity Pointe. It was probably great at one time, but I get the feeling that it is starting to go downhill. I visited Bellevue Woods. In about 30 years, when I am a little old lady, that might be just the place, but I am not interested in a retirement community at this time.

A friend mentioned that I might visit Big Creek which is way down a country road in Millington. Awful!! That place is only about 2 notches above a trailer park. The price is low but you share your apartment with bugs and rodents.
