garage apartment midtown (Memphis, Central: for rent, homes, live)

I'm relocating to Memphis this month and want to find a garage apt. in midtown . Any ideas? Thanks

Look at the memphisflyer.com or commercialappeal.com

Now...do you mean, an apt that is above someone's back garage? Homes in Memphis, esp Midtown, tend to not have garages. Some of the huge old homes have old's servants quarters in the back, that are sometimes rented out however.

There are always a ton of small apts/duplexes for rent in midtown. Your safest bet is to come here and take a look; I would never rent an apt in Memphis without visiting and doing some major research first.

I had a friend who lived in this apt, really neat spiral staircase, but extremely small. I don't know the current owner, however there is a for rent sign outside the apt. It is in Central Gardens.
