I'm glad to hear that brownie!I have only been there one time, and I did not fall in love with it!

What area will you be moving to? We just got confirmation that we're being transferred there. We're headed out to house shop in a couple of weeks, and hoping I'll warm up to the idea.

We are mostly looking at Collierville because of schools, and it seems like a young (well, 30ish young) population, and lots of kids.

Not sure what you are looking to spend, but don't take Arlington and Lakeland off your list when you look. Great houses good prices and so close to everything yet with a small town feel!!

Thanks Ann, we're already pushing the commute with living in Collierville. Lakeland or Arlington would be too far out, but we'll come by for a visit

If you're working downtown, Lakeland or Arlington would be a much easier commute than Collierville, imo.

South of the airport on Tuggle Rd. Not downtown.

I'm vaguely familiar with that area. It's heavy industrial, iirc. It's not really close to anywhere (except Southaven, I suppose) so Collierville would be a good place to live.
