Yes, but you can still definitely tell when a city has an overwhelming amount of one or the other. My vote is that Memphis DEFINITELY has a lot more uneducated people than educated ones, which is proven by the fact that Memphis is such a poverty ridden city and one of the poorest cities in the nation with a population its size or bigger. There's really no room for denial.

Not even close. This is not an educated city. Sure, there are educated people here, but the city as a whole just isn't. If you've ever been to a truly educated city you can tell instantly this place is not even in the running for being considered "an educated city." Now, if you're comparing to Arkansas or Mississippi then it could be - but only in comparison to a couple of the least intelligent places in the US.

The easiest way to tell is to look at who wins the city council elections. People have to be uneducated to vote for Janis Fullilove. The only councilperson that I know to have much sense is Strickland.
