The best bet for getting something with some land and near either locale is going to be Eads or Fisherville areas.
Bellevue isn't really like a typical megachurch IMO, only in size. It's more traditional, it's services are almost the same as what you'd find in a smaller Baptist church. And a significant percentage of the congregation are senior citizens. Most megachurches these days are upbeat and non-traditional. Maybe alot of ppl from Bellevue are heading to those kinds of churches.

"Megachurch" doesn't revolve to a worship style - which would be contemporary or traditional among others. A Megachuch is any church with attendance above 2000. Indeed, Bellevue was one of the original megachuches.

While I'm sure there would be culture shock for someone coming from a small rural church to a megachurch, I wouldn't refer to it as "ridiculous". It works for some people; it doesn't for others. I don't think there's really any need to use such an insulting remark about them, though.

Yeah i know it's still a megachurch, but it's not like a typical megachurch. There are not many churches these days that have gotten that big but are still traditional.

Memphis Mom of three is on a distinguished road
I attend Hope and it is, like everything else, what you make of it. Yes, it is big. It has grown greatly since we started, but if you get involved (which is a must if you join) it becomes like family. It has so much to offer with a small family feel.
As far as schools, there are so many to choose from. You should go and visit and you'll get a "gut" feeling when you find the right place. If you live in Collierville the public schools are great, too. Like Hope you will find the more you get involved in your child's school the more you and your child will get out of it.
If you're looking for acerage and nice homes you may want to check out Fayette County. By taking Collierville Arlington Rd or Houston Levee your husband would be able to get to his work in about 25-30 minutes.
I hope this helps.
