Parking is taken out of the paycheck. My boyfriend's dad says a 1 bedroom at the Gayoso is 800, which is a bit high for my salary(I think), of course, it would cut down on gas expenses.

This is from their website at apartmentguide.com. Says they start at $566...

The Apartments at Peabody Place Apartments Memphis, TN - Apartments for Rent in Memphis Tennessee

Well worth it to not have to drive and then park and walk to work everyday downtown.

I agree; And I can opt out of parking at the 2 decks they listed; possibly get them to go ahead and take out the $35 for the Peabody Tower parking. it will be top on my places to get in touch with.

I think $35 a month to park is pretty good though...isn't it usually more like $80 right around there? If your work will pay for it, I think that's a big bonus.

Yes. I think the "gayoso house" was the old name of the building. In the photo, you're looking at it from Front St. But you access it from Main St, which is a non-car street where the trolleys run. Well - you can access it from either way, but I assume most people park and then enter on Main.

You can get a 1 bedroom in Gayoso for under 600.00 I think you would do better calling and speaking to someone in the leasing office. Also I know that for the first time in a long time there are a few open units in Gayoso and the managment is freaking out a little bit.

Well, apparently that website is old b/c my boyfriend's dad called and they told him 800. However, the HR woman is supposed to be getting a list of prices to me.

Ok, so maybe The Apartments at Peabody are lower-priced.

It is around 80 a month if you don't live in Gayoso or Pembrook.
