I think this area may be called the South Bluffs but I am not sure. In any case if gives a good idea of some new development near the old bridges.

I went on a tour of the downtown condos last Saturday. If I were younger, I would buy downtown. It is so close to work and there is a lot going on downtown. DH has never lived in a "big" city (LOL about Memphis being big), so he doesn't quite get the nuances of living downtown. We'll stay in Germantown.

Downtown memphis is becomming very nice and if I have a chance to buy a codo down there I will. I want to take advantage of the housing market right now but I dont think downtown memphis is having that problem
