Smile Graceland...?

My wife and I are taking a trip to Graceland .. and we would like your help. What areas are the safest for visiters to stay in that is near Graceland itself... ??.. Thanks

I stayed at elvis' heartbreak hotel across the street, you get the full elvis effect if you stay there. Like elvis movies, 24 hours a day etc. I felt pretty safe there. I never stayed anywhere else in memphis.

well its not near graceland but in a good area. hampton inn and suites and the embassy suites is right next door. those are on shady grove rd right off poplar ave.

homewood suites on poplar and hampton inn on poplar ave.

but u can get on the interstate in memphis and be anywhere in a matter of minutes.

i work in the hotel business so if need any more help let me know

The Graceland area is not really a safe neighborhood at all. You can stay at the nearby toursits hotels and probably be OK. Just watch your car and where you walk at night. It's not too attractive in that area either.

Better yet is staying downtown and you would have Beale Street, the riverfront, and the downtown amenities nearby.
