I mean I guess it's good because it's a county school. It's not as violent and scary from a parent's point of view. but recently last Friday there was an unloaded pistol pulled to a kid's head 30 minutes after dismissal. There was a drug bust not long ago either. A lot of kids here do drugs, I see them buying it in the hallway. I mean I guess every high school has this sort of problem. AHS isn't bad academic wise. It isn't really a "ghetto" school. My mom told me that kids who get kicked out of Memphis City Schools start going to the county schools because they're not allowed back in.
Anyway, I personally hate living out here. Too many rednecks, and all they talk about is sports. I'd rather live in Midtown.
