TO Fuller is a neat park and kind of mirrors another state park north of Memphis (Shelby Forrest). Both sit on bluffs over the Mississippi River, but TO Fuller offers the added benefit of a golf course (which I hear is pretty good), and being surrounded by really rough neighborhoods (which I know are not so good). The park itself seems safe enough when I've been there, and Chucalisa (if it's still open), is an interesting look at how Native Americans lived in this area before it was settled by Europeans and (albeit unwilling at the time) African Americans.

I'm glad you had a good and safe stay in town. I probably wouldn't sleep in my car in Memphis, but then again, I probably wouldn't sleep in my car anywhere. I kind of like a bed to sleep in, and an RV is kind of roughing it for me. I agree the Zoo is one of the great things about Memphis.

I also want to thank you and your Church for what ya'll do with SOS. Memphis, for all it's problems, has lots of philanthropic, and often Faith based, groups who strive to make this community better. They sacrifice their treasure and their time, often in anonymity (ask around and see how many people in town have heard about S.O.S. or J.I.F.F.). Your efforts are appreciated!

Indeed.

Great statement, UofMGrad.
