Looking for an apartment..please suggest!

If you are going to rent a house, I'd look more in Bartlett than in the Hillshire area. There are a couple of safe neighborhoods near Appling and Highway 70 in Bartlett that have rentals that would be around $1000.00 for a three bed/two bath. This would be an easy drive to work right out Appling to Goodlett Farms. If you want to know some specifics about this area, let me know and I'll check and see what's available based on yard signs and get you the numbers for the landlords.

A couple of others you may want to check into are Woodchase and The Registry at Wolfchase. Both are very near the Dexter Road/Germantown Parkway area. I know nothing about them other than the fact that I drive by them a couple of times every day, but they look to be very well kept....

Oh, I just remembered another one I drive by every day....Appling Lakes...it's at the corner of Cordova Road and Appling Road. It's another pretty new complex. From there if you go east on Cordova Road a few blocks there are other, older complexes on both side of Cordova Road just before you reach Germantown Parkway. Again, I don't have any first hand knowledge about them, but they look nice....

Hey..I visited Memphis and was pretty impressed by the apartments in general. I would appreciate if anyone could give me feedback on Walnut Hill Apartments. I liked everything about it.
