Just wanted to add, don't trust Google maps or the other online ones for that matter when you're looking at Collierville to CBHS. They recently completed the entire section of Wolf River Blvd that goes from Shelton to Houston Levee, so it's a straight shot now. Plus they're finishing the redirection of Houston Levee right at Briarcrest Christian School, so it will be even faster than it is now.

What kind of price range are you looking for? The PP who said to look in the Wellington Farms area was pretty spot-on for a great commute to CBHS, probably about 20 minutes with the road completion... I think the homes there run between $340k and $400k and most of the people I know who live there have pools. If you're looking for a more affluent neighborhood, then there's a brand new neighborhood right up the road from there (can't remember the name right now... something like Wolf River Farms...).

I personally think Piperton is the place to go, larger lots, just starting in the development, lower taxes since you do not need the public schools and there are several upscale neighborhoods. I really feel the resale value will be great when the market turns for the better, plus you can get more for the money. Piperton is within 2 min from Collierville's downtown and Highway 385, which will take you to CBHS, 5 min to the mall in Collierville LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION

Phlox, it's called Braystone Park, there is a small community pool, and houses here range from 550K to 800K. Very close to Wolf River. A bit more upscale than Wellington, but both are nice Collierville subdivisions. Norseman, have you considered Briarcrest or St. George's, or are you set on CBHS? They are both a much easier commute from Collierville and Germantown.
