THe Lynnfield place - I always thought those looked okay, but I'm pretty sure someone asked about those before on here and people said NO. It's not a bad area, but I think the complex itself is pretty old and not well kept. I could be wrong though. It's right off Park in east memphis, right next to St Francis hospital.

Central Gardens is THE place to live if you are living in midtown 
Of course, there was just a random murder on South Rembert. Near CG, not in it. However, Rembert goes very far south, into some very bad areas. So the street # or intersection is key for anyone to give an opinion on that. |

Okay, so what about W. Sixth, Memphis? I found one of the nicest houses EVER. It is only $695 p/month 2 bedroom. How safe?

Oh no. That's the new Uptown development. While it's new and "nice" it is in the middle of the ghetto. They tore down crackhouses to build the new neighborhood, but it is still surrounded by other crack houses. I commend people who have moved there and who have tried to build the area into a nice, safe place. But, it's not safe, and I would never live there.

That saddens me.... The house was SO beautiful. It says it has a Brinks Security System, AND it can be rent to own. Is it not worth the investment?

What is the address? 6th here in Memphis is Uptown. (or worse) Do you have an address or a nearby intersection?

Plus why are you looking at a 2 bedroom home if you'll have 2 friends living with you? Doesn't sound like that house would work out anyway.

N. 6th would be in Memphis.....6th runs north and south in Memphis. For that matter, it runs north and south in West Memphis too....so there isn't a W. 6th over there. Millington has a 6th Avenue. I don't believe there is a W. 6th anywhere around Memphis....
