That's not Uptown. I don't even believe that ad. The photos do NOT depict anything that would be renting for $695 a month. Seems shady to me.

I thought that maybe the place was part of a bad neighbor hood. I am still going to call and see if i can get a proper address.

Don't bother....it's a scam! The street doesn't exist. The description of the location - near a mall, all major highways....walking distance to shops, dining, park, post office - believe me, that does NOT exist.
Overton Park Avenue.....depends on the exact location.
S. Daniel Avenue...never heard of it
E. Montebello Cir....that's near me. Good Cordova location. You can walk to Fresh Slices from there...
6700 Neshoba....just off Kirby Road near Germantown....very nice area
Summer Grove.....good Cordova location, just off Walnut Grove east of Sanga
Appling Drive....sure it's not Appling Road? If so, it's a good area
Fiske/Billy Maher....probably good, assuming it's in the Billy Maher/Egypt Central/Fiske Road area. That's near Daybreak Park and Quail Ridge Golf Course.
7028 Ashaway Cove...might beOK, but it's a little too close to Hickory Hill for me...
Dogwood Creek...near Houston Levee and Wolf River Blvd. Excellent area if you don't mind being that far east

Without looking them up on a map, I agree with all of this. My opinions are the same on the general areas.
And yes, that thing with the 6th St house is ridiculous. I wouldn't want to call that phone #, who knows what would happen.

Balmoral has some town houses that are on Ridgeway (in between 385 and Park).. you might want to check those out.
