Safe place to live around covington tn (Franklin, Millington: apartment complex, lease)

I'm getting transferred to covington tn and am looking for a safe, crime free, decent neighbourhood to live within 10-15 miles commuting zone or distance. An apartment would be preferred. I guess I can shell out $400-$600 for rent excluding electricity. Also I prefer a place without lease agreements. Please guide me.

I'd look into Munford, Atoka, Brighton also. They're no more than 15 minutes away

Thanks for the reply. Franklin square manor is the only apartment complex in muford tn?? They are pretty expensive 800 bucks. Do you know of any other places to look.

Brighton would be closer. Munford also. I wouldn't call it "crime free" but I will say it's not usually a violent crime. Both of my mowers have been stolen in munford. But the thieves are cowards. If they see you home often then they'll probably pass you by. If you stay away alot then they steel stuff. I'm not home alot. There are more houses for rent in the munford area than apartments.

There are a lot more apartments in Millington. I think it's about 20-30 minutes away from Covington. I don't know if that's too far for you.
