Default St. Judes and Living Areas

I will be a moving to Memphis in September for a 3 month fellowship at St. Judes. I have a golden retriever (4 years old 55lbs) and a cat that I would really like to be able to move with. Does anyone have any suggestions on living arrangements that would be close to the hospital and in a safe area? Thanks so much!

Check out apartments on Mud Island (Harbortown). It's not walkable, but a short car ride. However, you'll have a hard time finding any place that will rent for only 3 months - expect to pay a lot for something month to month like that.

The houses/apartments in Uptown are very close to St. Jude, but not very safe. I would receommend it to anyone.

Downtown is completely safe as well, and a short car ride to St. Jude. You could possibly also take the trolley to and from home, however it's still a few block walk onto the St. Jude campus.

Oh, and drop the (s) after St. Jude. That won't make you any friends here in town
