Default Raw Dog Diet in Memphis

Hello Memphis,

I am planning on coming to your lovely city this summer, and staying for at least one month and i am in need of a good sorce of Raw Diet for my Service Dog Cairo ( since i doubt they will let me bring a good 90 plus pounds across the boarder... let alone as a carry one lol)

im hoping i can find a good sorce as shipping his normal raw diet frozen would be more then i think i can afford at this time..

Help?

~shy~ and Cairo the flying Service Dog

What does your dogs' raw diet entail? Can you not just get turkey necks, chicken backs, etc. at the grocery store?

Some friends of mine get raw meaty bones at a Memphis butcher for like, a dollar... I'll ask them where if you want.

Arrowette,

i do feed the necks and backs, and soup bones etc and none "weight bearing" bones ( the the non-weight are for keeping him busy though) he gets them as a eveing meal, in the morning he gets "meatloaf" ( various animals) which comes in two kinds... Standard - just plain meat and organs ground, and complete which has suppliments and veggies as his breakfast

so i am looking for something like the later... but i would welcome the bone sorce for when im down your way as well -smiles-

Fayette County Packing Company has plenty of fresh beef bones, I believe they are available one day a week fresh, and frozen in 50 lb. boxes at other times.
It is fairly close to Memphis (depending on where you are, of course).
I know several people who feed the Bones and Raw Food diet, who get some of their supplies there.
The price is reasonable.
