Default Good Thai Food in Memphis? Bhan Thai downer

Can you recommend a good Thai restaurant in Memphis? We went to Bhan Thai, and while the service was good, the food had no flavor whatsoever.

Tx!

Bhan Thai is hands down the best of Memphis, voted year after year. Maybe it was on off night, might want to give it another try.

I've been to Bhan Thai and really loved it! Maybe you should give it one more shot. Sawadii used to be on Union downtown but they closed for some reason. That place was delicious! Alas, Bangkok Alley has just opened up in its place. Perhaps you could try that place but I know nothing about it since I've never been there.

Bangkok Alley is a typical chain, they have a few locations in the area. It's okay, but I don't think it's as good as Bhan Thai or Sawaddii used to be. Bhan Thai's atmosphere is so unique, they get points just for that

See above, Sawaddii closed a while back. Bangkok Alley is now in it's place.

Thanks for all the responses, I will try Thai Bistro!

We really loved the atmosphere at Bhan Thai. I don't think the food will get better.

Thai Bistro? It's not all that great. I've tried Sawaddi (closed), Bhan Thai, Bangkok Alley cordova and collierville, Thai Emerald (Mt. Moriah), and Chao Praya near Winchester. My favorite has got to be either Thai Emerald or Bhan Thai.
