Bowling Alleys in safe areas?
Are there any safe bowling alleys near Mud Island? I did a Google search and found some -- the closest seems to be Eagle Lanes on Missouri Street in Arkansas (West Memphis). I don't know yet what is safe at night without having traveled to the area. Any help you guys can give would be appreciated.
Thanks.

There was one inside of Jillian's downtown, but I'm not sure if the place that bought out Jillian's kept it open. You may want to call and ask. Corner of Peabody and 2nd (I am not certain what the new name of the club/bar is.).

This is the club the outfit that replaced Jillian's:
primetimesportsbar.net
The website indicates they have 14 bowling lanes. If so, that would be the closest and should be a generally safe area. I'd advise against going to the Plush Club at 4th and Beale for after bowling dancing and rain making though. That area is significantly less safe.

Who said anything about the Plush Club?
The area where Jillian's/Prime Sports is located is completely safe. Very yuppie-ish, right across from the Flying Saucer

Last time I went it was still Jillian's, and they were mini bowling lanes, not full ones.

Although I do make a point of warning people who don't know downtown to avoid the area around the Plush Club, in this case I was just making a little joke. Apparently a very, very little joke. Sorry, I'll stay on topic.
