Another suggestion...

When we first moved to Memphis, my wife would take my then 2-year old son to the central library each week for story and crafts time. Both wife and son made lasting friendships there. I think most branches of the Memphis library system offer similar weekly events.

is there anything like this for Memphis moms, specifically downtown/uptown/midtown?? I am a SAHM and I homeschool my kiddos. I know there is a homeschool group, but we probably will not homeschool long term.
