What's it like living in collierville? (for rent, house, elementary school)

Work is relocating us to Collierville and we're looking to rent a home for a family of 6, preferably with some room outside- large lot or some property. Are there places in town or will we need to look on the outskirts? Thanks for any suggestions.

Its wonderful if you live between along wolf river blvd in collierville/germantown.My nice 4 BR 3.5 bath home at collierville is on sale.I am also thinking for rental.Its at crosswind elementary school zone and 5 years old home.

Thanks for your reply. Can you give a little more info regarding the home you may be renting? We're not familiar with the area yet and my husband is checking out a few leads this week. Is this a large area or will he get a good feel by heading over to the direction of wolf river blvd? What are the details regarding your home- long or short-term rental, lot size, price, etc.?

There are a lot of nice areas in Collierville, not just along Wolf River, don't limit yourself. There are a couple of recent threads you might want to check that talk in great detail about specific subdivisions, you might want to look at those. Don't get too close to Poplar if you don't like the sounds of trains about 10 times a day and night!
