Good restaurant in Olive Branch/Byhalia?
I have company coming and they really want to eat a meal in MS, I live in Collierville and don't get down there too often, any suggestions for a memorable place in Desoto or Marshall County?
Thanks!

If they are golfers, they may want to eat at John Daley's restaurant. If they are big eaters then a trip to Harrah's in Tunica for Paula Deen's should work. You need to prepare days in advance and wear your stretchy pants.

I second the Olive Branch Catfish Company
is an amazing experience, just warn them that it's very casual! But some of the best catfish my family has ever had, and they are big catfish fans!

catfish...or cats!!t...?
i wish i had some of the advice of those posting today, prior to my visit a few weeks ago to the joint that ended up being located about 18 miles south of collierville. had to stop on the side of the road (Bayhalia), pick up a dog, and lick its ass to get the taste out of my mouth, after trying to eat the food at the place. obviously, we failed to reach the place which had been highly recommended to us by so many from collierville, germantown, and downtown.

Funny Stuff ^^^
I personally have never eaten there but have several freinds who go there religously and swear its the best catfish you'll ever eat.
I myself have never cared for catfish, as they are bottom feeders(They live off eating dooky )
maybe this is why you felt the urge to lick a dogs nads

I have eaten at both of the catfish joints mentioned and they are very good. But my favorite catfish is on the buffet at Leonard's BBQ (near the intersection of Mendenhall and Mt. Moriah).

The Catfish Company is good - but, damn, it takes fried food to the extreme. I frankly gotten a little sick after I ate there both times with that grease just sitting in the bottom of my stomach and I am sure it took a year off my life with each visit just due to the fried fat intake.

Thanks again, I am little scared, wish they would just eat in TN, they have never been to MS and they want to add it to their list, in order for it to count they have to have a meal there or a beer, silly I know.
