The medical profession/field has changed, because at one time nurses were low paid, received little respect. Truly caring people went into the field. Then, when nursing pay went up, more prestige, the profession had more people who were about the pay. That is when more bullies started in the field, maybe? I don't know. Bully nurses don't bother me, I can shut them down pretty quick, they bully people lower on the totem pole than me. I knew one bully nurse, she terrorized all the students. I called her out on her BS. Because I could. It is trickier when people your same level or above you are bullying you.
